The 9900 gauge was originally designed for marine tanks that needed a secure means to view the level in a tank on a vessel.
The gauge glass is secure in a carbon steel or stainless steel housing with a clear polycarbonate shield over the front. In case of breakage the gauge has ball check valves top and bottom. The gauge also comes with needle type valves top and bottom for manual shut off. The connections to the tank are via 1/2" / 3/4"MNPT, or 1/2"-2" flanges. The process connections to the tank have a misalignment unions feature to insure a proper fit every time.
For marine applications this product is ABS and DNV approved for all tanks.
