Duratread fiberglass stair tread covers provides an easy, cost effective way
to increase the safety of stair ways. These treads retrofit over any existing
stairs and can be mechanically and/or bonded to existing steps. They come
in standard depths of 8"-12", 1/8" or 1/4" thick, and 12' long. Standard colors
are black, yellow or black with a yellow nosing. The top surface is gritted
with an epoxy nonskid surface.

Installation
1) Duratread covers should be installed on a clean, level surface.
Use grout or other suitable material to level uneven surfaces
prior to installation.
2) Sand the bottom surface of the stair tread cover if bonding
tread covers to stairs. Two-part epoxy is recommended.
3) Use appropriate fasteners to mechanically attach tread covers
to various substrates. All fasteners should be stainless steel.
4) When installing tread covers over grating, field drill holes to
insure the fasteners will not interfere with grating bars.
